Destination
Day 1:Srinagar – Sonamarg – Kargil
- Pick-up from Srinagar Airport
- Drive towards Kargil via Sonamarg – “Meadow of Gold”
- Cross Zojila Pass (3,900 m) – high-altitude gateway to Ladakh
- En route visit Drass Village – world’s second coldest inhabited place
- Evening arrival in Kargil and check-in to hotel or deluxe camp
- Overnight stay in Kargil
Day 2:Kargil – Leh (230 km / ~7 hrs)
- Post breakfast departure for Leh
- Stop at Mulbekh Village to see the ancient rock-cut Maitreya Buddha
- Drive past Lamayuru Monastery and Moonland terrain
