Day 1:Srinagar – Sonamarg – Kargil

  • Pick-up from Srinagar Airport 
  • Drive towards Kargil via Sonamarg – “Meadow of Gold” 
  • Cross Zojila Pass (3,900 m) – high-altitude gateway to Ladakh 
  • En route visit Drass Village – world’s second coldest inhabited place 
  • Evening arrival in Kargil and check-in to hotel or deluxe camp 
  • Overnight stay in Kargil

Day 2:Kargil – Leh (230 km / ~7 hrs)

  • Post breakfast departure for Leh
  • Stop at Mulbekh Village to see the ancient rock-cut Maitreya Buddha
