Day 1:Arrival – Chilaw – Negombo (100 km / approx. 2 hrs 50 min)

  • Meet & greet on arrival at Colombo International Airport
  • Transfer to Chilaw to begin your Ramayana trail
  • Visit:
  • Munneswaram Temple – where Lord Rama prayed to Shiva
  • Manavari Temple – where Lord Rama installed a Shiva Lingam
  • Continue to Negombo
  • Overnight in Negombo

Day 2:Negombo – Kandy (185 km / approx. 5 hrs)

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Depart to Kandy
  • En route: Visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage
  • In Kandy:
  • Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa)
