This group trip pairs Georgia's capital and wine country with its sunny Black Sea coast. You start in Tbilisi with its old town and nearby Mtskheta, then head east to the Kakheti vineyards, Bodbe Monastery and Sighnaghi. A scenic drive across western Georgia brings you to Batumi, where you have three nights to enjoy the seafront boulevard, the Alphabetic Tower, the botanical garden and the ancient fortress at Gonio. A trip captain travels with the group, and you return to Tbilisi by road before flying home.

Itinerary
1Day 1: Arrival in Tbilisi
- Arrive at Tbilisi International Airport, where you are met and transferred to your hotel.
- Check in and meet your trip captain and fellow travellers.
- Spend the evening at leisure.
- Overnight stay in Tbilisi.
2Day 2: Tbilisi City Tour | Mtskheta
- After breakfast, set out on a guided tour of Tbilisi, including the old town and Metekhi Church.
- Cross the Bridge of Peace, stroll through Rike Park and take the cable car to Narikala Fortress.
- In the afternoon, drive to Mtskheta to visit Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral.
- Return to Tbilisi.
- Overnight stay in Tbilisi.
3Day 3: Kakheti Wine Region | Sighnaghi
- After breakfast, drive east to the Kakheti wine region.
- Visit Bodbe Monastery and explore the hilltop town of Sighnaghi with views over the Alazani Valley.
- Visit a winery for a tasting experience.
- Return to Tbilisi in the evening.
- Overnight stay in Tbilisi.
4Day 4: Tbilisi to Batumi
- After breakfast, check out and begin the scenic drive west across Georgia to the Black Sea coast.
- The journey takes around six hours, with comfort and photo stops on the way.
- Arrive in Batumi and check in to your hotel.
- Take an evening stroll along the seafront boulevard.
- Overnight stay in Batumi.
5Day 5: Batumi City Tour
- After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Batumi.
- See the Alphabetic Tower, Piazza Square and the old town streets.
- Visit the Batumi Botanical Garden overlooking the sea.
- The rest of the day is free for the beach or optional activities.
- Overnight stay in Batumi.
6Day 6: Gonio Fortress | Free Time in Batumi
- After breakfast, drive a short distance south to Gonio Fortress, a historic Roman-era fort.
- Return to Batumi for free time by the sea, with shopping and cafes along the boulevard.
- Your trip captain can suggest optional activities for the afternoon.
- Overnight stay in Batumi.
7Day 7: Batumi to Tbilisi
- After breakfast, check out and drive back east to Tbilisi.
- The journey takes around six hours, with comfort stops on the way.
- Check in to your hotel and gather for a farewell get-together.
- Overnight stay in Tbilisi.
8Day 8: Departure from Tbilisi
- After breakfast, check out of your hotel.
- Transfer to Tbilisi International Airport for your flight home.
- Depart Georgia with wonderful memories.
Weather, road conditions and safety may require changes to the itinerary.
