This escorted trip shows you the best of peninsular Malaysia in six days. You start in Kuala Lumpur with the Petronas Twin Towers, Merdeka Square and Batu Caves, then ride a cable car up to the cool hills of Genting Highlands. From there the group travels by road to Penang, an island known for its colonial buildings, street art, temples and food. A trip captain stays with the group throughout, and Indian meal options are available on request.

Itinerary
1Day 1: Arrival in Kuala Lumpur | Evening at leisure
- Arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, where you are met and transferred to the hotel.
- Check in and meet your trip captain for a short briefing on the days ahead.
- The evening is free to rest or walk around the city.
- Overnight stay in Kuala Lumpur.
2Day 2: Kuala Lumpur City Tour | Batu Caves
- After breakfast, set out on a guided tour of Kuala Lumpur with a photo stop at the Petronas Twin Towers.
- See Merdeka Square and the National Monument.
- Continue to Batu Caves to climb the steps to the temple cave.
- Return to the hotel with free time in the evening.
- Overnight stay in Kuala Lumpur.
3Day 3: Genting Highlands by Cable Car
- After breakfast, drive to the base of the cable car and ride up to Genting Highlands.
- Enjoy the cool mountain air and views over the forested hills.
- Spend the day exploring the resort area at your own pace.
- Ride the cable car back down and return to Kuala Lumpur.
- Overnight stay in Kuala Lumpur.
4Day 4: Drive to Penang | Gurney Drive Evening
- After breakfast, check out and travel by coach to Penang, a drive of around four to five hours with rest stops.
- Check in to the hotel on arrival and rest.
- In the evening, walk along the Gurney Drive seafront, known for its local food stalls.
- Overnight stay in Penang.
5Day 5: George Town Heritage | Kek Lok Si Temple | Penang Hill
- After breakfast, explore George Town on a guided walk past colonial buildings, clan houses and street art.
- Visit Kek Lok Si Temple, one of the largest Buddhist temples in Malaysia.
- Ride the funicular railway up Penang Hill for views over the island.
- Some free time is kept for shopping and snacks.
- Overnight stay in Penang.
6Day 6: Departure from Penang
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
- Transfer to Penang International Airport for your onward flight.
- Depart with memories of Malaysia.
